To Nick: i dont need it for attractiveness, i need it cause one i have red marks from my bra, and back ache, and because i've been teased about them for 3 years, and i really cant take it anymore, i used to be in tears like everyday because of them. I'm hoping my sergion will take that into consideration.

I wanted a reduction at that age too.. I was the same way you are! They wouldnt do it because I was too young, and said I wasn't done developing. Now I still hate my breasts, but I have no ins. so I cant get it done. If they wont do it now, wait til you are 18 and get it, before you get dropped from your parents insurance..
good luck

I too have large breasts and am having my Breast Reduction in 4 weeks.
I am now 21 and a size 34G but when I was 15/16 I was a 34E bra size. I actually had no problem whatsoever with back pain or anything at that size, I had slight stretch marks but after using a Vitamin E oil the red marks and scarring disapeared. I have to ask, Are you wearing ugly, thick strapped bras? If not then I highly recommend buying some, I have worn "ugly, old woman" bras for the past 9 years and even now my breasts have no sag to them at all. Try purchasing some of these bras, just to wear until you have your operation. I don't know if insurance covers a 34DD size, but the overall cost isnt really that expensive. Mine is coming to a total of AU $10,500 with a 20% Health Tax rebate and 10% Medicare so it comes down to about $7,500. With insurance it can take the cost down to about $5000.
Even at the age of 21 I thought that I was a very young candidate for the surgery but my surgeon told me that he has operated on a few 16 year olds before. The main thing is that you need parental/guardian permission (and possibly a loan from them too) but I think that the surgeon would most likely prefer you to wait until you are at least 16.
I hope this has helped you, good luck with you consultation

Perhaps a plastic surgeon won't do it because of ethical considerations.
You don't need this surgery for health reasons. You want it to improve your attractiveness. And improving your attractiveness at 15 years of age, when you are not ready for a serious relationship and marriage is not really necessary.
There is some risk in every surgery. And if anything goes wrong with your breast reduction, then this plastic surgeon will probably have to leave town. He is going to become a very unpopular guy for abusing an underage child like that.

you really should wait until you are over 18 since you may not be done growing yet. If you are not done, you may need another one in the future. It is best to wait until you are done growing.
Go to Nordstroms or JCPenney's or similar store (DO NOT go to Victoria Secret, they size you wrong, trust me on that) and get sized. 80% of us are in the wrong size bra. Then buy a minimizer bra. It will help support and squish them so hopefully it will help your back.

Samm, excedrin or any painkillers do not help the pain. I've been there done that and nothing helped. Only surgery.
Nick, you obviously have NO clue about what large breasts can do to one's back. The back, neck, and shoulder pain, the grooves in your shoulders from naturally heavy breasts, the rashes under your breasts. IT IS NOT A VANITY ISSUE!

DO NOT DO THIS YOU ARE NOT THROUGH GROWING..
Red marks are no reason to do this,
FOR GOD'S SAKE GET A BIGGER BRA. IT IS TOO SMALL. You must shop in the fuller figure area to get a comfortable bra. And yes I know they are not cutsie and colorful, but they are comfortable all day.
When the band in the back and the shoulder straps are wider it will eliminate most of the pain. Make sure you are standing straight. Your pain may be from your posture. Stand tall and straight to elimate back pain.
A couple of excedrin will help kill the pain. Cross your heart Playtex bras will make you much more comfortable. Since you do not have little girl breasts anymore you need big girl bras. Good Luck.

i agree with the others there can be problems if u have plastic surgery when you're young or any age, i'm a 34d and fine with it- in my opinion don't even go, you're still developing, breast size can change later just like everything else, especially after pregnancy- accept who u are and decide later on if u still feel too uncomfortable about it- also try minimizing bras and excercising

a girl I graduated with (class of '06) had hers reduced from a size '40 E' to a size '40 C/D' when we were in 10th grade so I guess about age 16....I don't know the details, but I do know that her doctors were very hesitant because of her age, but she was an early bloomer in our class (she sarted in 5th grade to "blossom") they came to the conclusion that her growth buds were about done so it was ok to go ahead. If your growth buds are about done then there may be a better chance that your doctors will take another look at it.

No, you can't do it at that age because your body is still growing. If you were to do it, then your boobs may grow more and you'd have to get the surgery again. Wait a few years until you do it.
