Fishing for comments are we? Its the law actually. If you card everyone - as they do in popular night club, bar and college areas - the establishment does not run the risk of getting pinched by the police. Vice versa - I was used as a decoy in college to purchase alcohol at the most popular liquor store in my town to see if the clerk would card me - common practice. Nowadays - you see the placards stating "We card everyone under 40" - kinda the no exception rule. So, if your humbleness does not proceed you - you are not special my friend, just a product of the legal environment.

They know how old you are so they card you to make you feel good about yourself and they can see where you live.

Don't worry about it count your blessings that you look so young. Some day you will look you age and than wish you were asked.
