What I do is fill a spray bottle with 3 parts water and 1 part bleach. I spray the grout after every shower. Then you dont need to scrub. But until then, scrub with Comet.

You'll just have to buckle down with a scrub brush and tile cleaner. You can save yourself a little time and work if you go to Home Depot and get a professional tile cleaner instead of the run-of-the-mill stuff you get at Walmart or grocery stores.
Also, in the future, you can save yourself a LOT of work by re-sealing your grout.
Also ask at Home Depot for products that will do this.

Whiten your grout

To clean and whiten stained or discolored grout Restore it to its original shade of white by using a toothbrush dipped in undiluted white vinegar to scrub away the dinginess. This is a very inexpensive cleaner Good Luck !

CLR cleaner. Cleans calcium, lime, and rust deposits - works great on things like tile grout, can be found at Wal-Mart. And a paint scraper is a great cleaning tool.

Okay they are all fine ideas but you should get some grout sealer to keep it clean after you clean it. You will find it at the hardware store.

I don't really like to do it. But all you have to do is get some ajax and water. Get your scrubber and toothbrush and scrub away. Takes time if you want it done right.
