In the UK it's with 2 L's, in the US with only one.
That also applies to - travelling

Traveller is written in UK, traveler is written in USA...so both are correct...depends on where you are right now.

FWIW, I've always been a bit disappointed by the only spelling I've seen of Robert E. Lee's famous horse, i.e. with 2 L's
