A few more details might be helpful in getting an accurate answer.

Is your base OS (the one installed on your system) Knoppix or Windows? Which version(s)? What are you attempting to do?

The mkntfs utility can be used to create an NTFS partition, but I don't believe that it can convert an existing partition which means it would be a destructive create.

The Windows convert.exe utility can be used to convert a FAT-based file system to NTFS, but that's not going to help you unless Windows is your base OS and your using either a dual-boot or livecd installation of Knoppix.

Other than that, I do not know of any 3rd part utilities that would allow you to convert a partition to NTFS inside a linux installation.
