Oh.
You will never find the answers to this.
Dinosaurs laid eggs long before chickens came along.
You could then go on to ask, how did an eye evolve?
If you couldn't see before, what made you suddenly want to see, and how did it happen?
Philosophers will be blue in the face before there's an answer to that one.
You certainly won't find it on Yahoo!

the problem is whether the egg is an egg from the "previous" species or if it's a chicken egg. I think the egg is not a chicken egg, but it contains what will be a chicken, so the chicken is first.

Cause the egg needed the chicken to keep it warm so it would hatch.

because the chicken would have had to be evolved into a chicken, but that chicken, born of whatever two types of birds, would have had to be hatched-in order to be a chicken, since they are hatched from an egg.
