It doesn't sound like you are in America, but I'll take a shot. Contact the wage and hour dept at your unemployment office. They should handle it. If not, ask a lawyer, most of the time your first visit is free and they can advise you. You can also try legal aid if you're short on money. Don't let them get away with it.

Dear friend,
Write a letter to your employer with all your employment details requesting him to kindly pay your salary. If that doesn't work, just forgive him and the Co. you worked for and forget the incident. Though you may feel very bad for a few days, you will find happiness in your future life. Feel in your mind that you have made a charitable work for the Universe and just say yourself, "all that has happened is whole, complete and perfect" and thank the Universe for giving so many opportunities in your life. This will definitely keep your mind peaceful throughout your future life.

If your are in UK the terms and conditions that you were given at your job interview and you both accepted should apply.
These are binding as a contract once you start work and may be vebal but normally confirmed in writing so check these out if you have them.
You will find information on DTI web site.
However if you left without giving proper notice your rights may be affected.
You should consult CAB if in UK for free advise.
Hope this helps.
regards

Write to GM of Co. He may call you either for payment of wage or for
Legal action is very long and very costly. You can go to Labour Commissioner of yourTown. You can go to Neta of any Union. He will take money from you and from your boss.

Go to small claims court. You don't need a lawyer that way and it would cost you only $50 to file the claim. You don't need to know all the technical law jargon. You'll get your money that way.
