I need a World view & Pakistanis view.
Musharraf (so called self proclaimed President of Pakistan):

Bypassed parliement (mede a rubber stamp of it).
Solde steel mill for a handfull of peanuts.
Used establishment for his own interests.
Kidnapped people.
dismissed Chief Justice against the law.
His men (the police) stomed GEO TV office.

Do you support? Why
If you dont support. Why?
Do you think its time to go for him?

This is the time for him to go and leave the country but he won't do that. all he cares about his uniform and presidency, 1st i used to think that may b this time we have someone who is sincere with us and with pakistan but i was wrong, almost all his policies are against the Islamic laws and our values, pakistan has chanaged a lot during his time and no wonder this is the Pakistan's worst era,
I am not in the favour of our other leaders like bb and miyan but this person is destroying the country too.. who gave him the right to start demolishing mosques in pakistan for so called security reasons?
Charges against the Chief Justice are sooooo ridiculous.. who esle is not using the VIP protocol? Atleast that guy was doing some good for the country, but obviously why they want anyone to do good job? And he is telling the world that everything is fine.. many of the poor pakistanis are not even having the basic needs 4 living.. and his govt is telling us that we are doing well..
this is some kind of joke right??
Almost 10 people died on basant day, who is responsible for that? not confirmed but i heard that HIS HIGNESS was also celebrating the event till 4 AM in morning..
This is our fault that we always have corrupt politicians and leaders, we don't want our children to know the base of pakistan.. we want to b friend with India, we want to change the syllabus because we don't want our kids to know abt the term JIHAAD, we don't know the real spirit of Islam, all we know is how to please the west.. who cares about islam and pakistan and peace and about the AWAM? West is happy means everyone is happy..
how can an Islamic state be established without an ideological foundation and a society of Muslims who been educated in the religion and have learned it thoroughly? We don't want people who have no knowledge of islam and who even can not differentiate between shameless acts, modernism and modesty..
May ALLAH forgive us and guide us in truth and in all our actions aameen. May ALLAHH give us hidayah and protect Pakistan and Muslim ummah AAMMEN
No offence intended
Peace

No i dunn think that the GEO attack was done on mussharraf's instructions, first of all musharraf is not so stupid to do such act so openly even if he wanted to he could've done something else to stop the GEO and we all pakistanis know that he could!!! who did this than?? i personally as a pakistani national think that this is the plot against musharraf by the political parties leaders namely nawaz sharif, benazir bhutto and many more as they just need him out of the scene. why? because he is thinking logically for pakistan as an international state and has brought many changes to alot of things that we only talked about earlier. these politicians had never been faithful to pakistan, atleast he is!!!

Perhaps, but not necessarily. Should Musharraf cease to rule, what will take his place? Unless we know the alternative we cannot say for sure that it will be better.

Iraq is a good example. You could have made a similar (and probably stronger) argument about Saddam Hussein priorto his overthrow. Now that he is gone, has that made Iraq a better place? I think not. Furthermore, should the US pull out of Iraq, would that make it a better place? Again, the answer could very well be no.

These are not simple situations. You cannot just get rid of one thing that is bad and assume that it will be replaced with good.

You have asked a very important question here. I've been wondering "WHY" Musharraf has the support of President Bush. But then again look how corrupt Bush is.
