Yes, sometimes it is. When a three year old at my work shows me his drawing which consists of three black lines a green line and several dark blue dots, i say I think the drawing is beautiful even though I don't think it is. And there are more examples like that. If the real Truth unnecessary hurts, I tell a white lie.

I hate even a white lie. Occasionally I have not to hurt someones feelings.

Depends on what level you are talking about. A lie is a lie to God but I wouldn't tell someone they looked bad even if they did.

No. I don't like anyone to tell a lie to me - neither black nor white!, so I don't tell lies to others while possible.
