Yes they do make pads large enough for a flow like that, they're called Kotex extra longs. You can find them in Wal Mart, Rite Aide, CVS, or your local shopping mart.

Medical supply stores sell large and absorbent wound dressings called ABD pads... They are about 8"x 9" and could supplement a maxi pad. Cut them down if needed to whatever size you need.
Being virginal should not keep you from using tampons. If they cause pain to insert, you might consider consulting your OB/Gyn to see if your vagina and it's opening are within normal limits. Many young women have a hymen that has too small of an opening, but this is easily fixed by your doc... If you don't have access to a clinic or OB/Gyn, call your county Public Health Dept or United Way First Call For Help (usually dial 2-1-1 in most of USA) and ask for referral to a free clinic.

I use Always Pads but the kind with the dri-weave (trying to find out if they still make the kind with the dri-weave for those that want it instead of the newer product out that I found out from some on the YA boards not too long ago) and they have several kinds to help deal with the flow.
But with your situation I would recommend getting evaluated by your dr to see what is going on. Also, some drugstores will sell pads that are a lot like the ones in the hospital. If you can't find them there then check a Medical supply place as one of the other posters suggested while you wait to get in to your dr.
If you are having to change them very quickly within an hour you should go to the ER to have them look in to what is going on.

it is so frustrating isnt it? i spent several years in this situation with my mother yelling about the stained underwear. I ended up finding out that my period was much heavier than normal and I had to go on the pill to control it. If you are bleeding too heavily and to quickly for the pad to absorb it, you are most likely bleeding more than is normal. tampons will work a little better but you may need to change them up to hourly if the flow is really heavy. I think you need to see a doctor. You could try the pill or a non contraceptive drug such as ponstan which reduces the pain and degree of bleeding. good luck and hang in there sweetie

They make tampons like Tampax Satin Teens specifically for girls with hymens. Most hymens are stretchy enough to let a tampon pass no problem. There have actually been cases of women going to the hospital to give birth and the doctor finds her hymen still intact, and has to remove it, because it was elastic enough not to break during sex, it just stretches. Even if you do break it, what's the big deal, it has to break sometime, and it doesn't mean your not a virgin if it does. you're a virgin until you have sex.

Even if you use a tampon you'll still be a virgin. It might break the hyman, but last time I checked, it still takes sex to lose your virginity.
Try using more than one Max pad... it might be uncomfortable though. Check with your doctor if your periods are very heavy. You might get some hormones to help out.

you dont lose your virginity when you use a tampon, they are probably the best option anyway, but if you want a pad, use a maternity pad from libra
