And what's the whole meaning behind "Stat"? It must be more than the fact that he fills the stat box, right?

It was given to him in high school by his teammates and it means Standing Tall And Talented. And I knew this I didn't get it from site like Roy.

Well, you see, when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's Amare. ... Seriously though, his nickname, according to wikipedia, is this:

"His nickname, STAT, is an acronym for Standing Tall and Talented"
