People say they are gay because all they have heard by them is the MTV songs....if they actually listened to there albums, they would probably appreciate them more. Songs like Figured You Out, Never Again, Side of a Bullet and Rock Star are waaayyyy underrated and are not the typical MTV bullshit....Nickelback can rock there asses off!! You just have to get past the radio friendly crap. Radio and MTV can ruin any good band and have they have done this many times over the years. They play the hell out of songs til you get soo sick of them, that you hate the bands and dont ever give any of there other songs a chance. Nickelback has had like 6 hit songs off there latest album, they must be doing something right!!! The same can be said about Outkast..check out there older stuff like ATLiens. They can Rap! but radio has screwed them over with there soft, teeny boppin crap.

And there lyrics do have meaning...instead of using confusing metaphors like most other bands, he gets straight to the point, so you know what hes talking about...listen to Never Again....women will appreciate this song and men should too, real men that is.

People who say that could be:

(one of the following)

1. Like different types of music and not that kind they judge that band is.
2. Bored.
3. Are gay themselves.
4. Don't know who they are.
5. Just bored.
6. Dont know what music is.
7. Just bored again and decided to insult them.
8. Dont like them.

You guess now.

Personally, I don't like the band.

But yeah go figure.

I don't think they are gay, but I stopped listening to them after "Photograph" came out. That is one of the most horrible songs I have ever heard.

To the answerer above me. The only one of those guys you listed who is actually gay is Freddie Mercury.

personally i don't feel that they are gay. i happen to like their music. although this will sound as if i am trying to say something ignorant sounding, but it is something that i have noticed over the years. doesn't the lead singer on nickleback look an awful lot like jesus?

i'm not trying to offend anyone by saying that, but to me he seriously looks like jesus.... look at the face. and you should see what i'm talking about.

Well, they are kind of whiney... the guy sounds like he's just been crying in every song.

Not to mention that pretty much all of their songs sound the same.

Don't believe me? See my sources.

it really is a really non smart-*** answer. it extremely is a really stereotypical perspective. not one of the gay adult adult males i have spoken with or met dress like females, and not one of the lesbians i have met dress in biker garb, like i'm particular you imagine they do.
