Why can't I hear the sound of DVD on my Computer When it is playing?

When I play a DVD movie on my computer I can't hear it's sound. I checked all speakers, volumes, settings ,...
but nothing happened. What should I do?

you need to download a codec pack for this, i reccomend K-LITE codec pack , download and install the full pack and you should be able to play dvd movies with no problem
