try this, close your eyes and imagine ur in a room. try to get a mental picture of the room, where you can see all four walls at the same time, lik you have four eyes at 90 degrees to each other arnd ur head....combine the visions to give urself an image tht is comprised of all 4 walls....its impossible to do it becoz our brain perceives only a 2d image of wht we see with 2 eyes, therefore our imagination is reduced to seeing and creating objects tht r restricted to wht we can see...this is wht i prefer to call perceptional fallacy...ne buyers for the theory?

when i imagined myself in the room, i was standing in the corner so i had a clear vision of the two walls on either side of me, and the two right opposite me, adjascent to them. ^_^ at the same time i could see the ceiling as well as the floor. so i was actually perceiving the room in 3-Dimentional vision.

LOL

just messing with u, sweetie... Perceptional Fallacy sounds like apretty convinceing theory at first, but there's one major fault over-riding it: our brain is made thus so it can perceive 3 dimentions in all their glory. however, i'm sure ur getting somewhere. keep working on and building upon ur original thoughts and perhaps it could lead u towards a whole different line of thought. who knows? a new theory could emerge right out of nowhere...

Actually it can be done but it creates confusion in most people and the brain corrects the error instantly so our idea of reality is not disturbed.

This 360 degree vision is a recurring idea that is common in scripture and other spiritual literature.

We are capable of seeing this way and in truth it is our natural way of seeing, but the body is a limitation that we place on our selves here in the physical reality and it forces us to see the way you are describing while we are clothed in the body.

Have you heard of stereoscopic vision? That allows us to perceive depth and distance, even with our two eyes. As for the mind's eyes, i am sure there is one for each degree in a circle. One's imagination is never restricted to any number of dimensions.

Fallacy implies 'error'.
As long as I am AWARE that I am only perceiving a PART of all available perceptions, I can see no error.
I can see error only in trying to translate the PART of reality that I perceive as a 'whole reality'.

As far as I know, we have two eyes carefully positioned at a suitable distance of each other precisely to ensure our perception can cover the three dimensional space fairly well!!
