I found a pair of imitation (I assume) leather flip flops today and they look good and are comfortable. The brand is Panama Jack. Can you tell if someone is wearing flip flops from Walgreens? Would you wear them?

Honestly, if you are going to spend the cash, why not spend it on a pair of nice flip flops that you know will last you the whole Summer? I always buy my flip flops from Old Navy. They are really really inexpensive, about $2.50 and come in tons of cool shades. And to better answer your question, someone would have to be looking pretty close to notice, "Hey, she is wearing shoes from Walgreens". And no, I probably wouldn't wear them because I don't like imitation leather anything. Good luck. I hope this helps!

No you cannot tell imitation from real leather, but if im not mistaken panama jack does carry real leather flops. I have seen so many cheap flip flops mistaken for expensive ones, so do not sweat it. im thinking of going to walgreens and getting me a pair, i need some new ones.

Yes, I would. However, I have two pairs of flip flops, one pair I bought at Target, the other pair, also technically from Target, I found new at Goodwill. (The Goodwills I used to shop at in both Columbus, OH and Southern IN used to get the target leftovers. New stuff that I guess just didn't sell at Target.) Both pairs cost me only $.50. I got a black and blue pair, partially to match my swimsuits. (I got one pair, I think the blue at Target first to go with my favorite suit before my husband and I spent Easter weekend last year in Jacksonville Beach.) I wore them frequently last summer, but only for short walks, i.e., across the street to my husband's school, running outside to take out the trash, or to go to the apartment complex courtyard to hang out with friends, etc.
I buy things cheap and try and keep them as long as possible. Also, I've bought name brand stuff and have actually had worse trouble with them. Seems as though the more I pay, the shorter time they last.
Wear what you like. If others don't like it, it's their problem.
(My 21-y-o SIL who is very name conscious [maybe I would have been too if my mommy paid for everything at that age] has called me cheap, when I told her that anything over $20 is too expensive. Yet, she's complimented me on my clothes before. Ha ha.)

Personally i think this question is weird, but yeah i would wear flip flops from walgreens. Especially if they're sturdy and cute and will go with my outfits. Other than that they could be for when your traveling or need temporary ones for the beach or something.

If you found them, and don't know who had them on, I wouldn't. You don't know if that person wearing the flip flops had an infection.Nail fungi's or athletes foot??Just buy a new nice pair.

yeah, most of my favorite flip flops are from there. they have great sales and I get compliments on them. They usually last a long time, and i'm from texas so they're worn year round.
If you like them, go for it.

As long as it is not your only pair of shoes no one cares unless you are in middle school with bitches for friends. The key is to have lots of different shoes, no one cares where you shop anymore, except for bitches who look for reasons to look down on others. (They do not count anyway unless you are one of them-then you have a problem if they are your friends-more than one problem if they are your friend without their daddy or mommy buying for you.)

i've bought slippers from there. who cares what people think. strut them like they're manolo blaniks. lol... more than likely someone will stop you to ask you where you got them from and instead of answering old navy like everyone else, you can say... it's a secret.. or... if i tell you i'd have to kill you. lol
