How did you fell when Snipe the potion master kill him

I didn't like it much that Dumbledore was killed but i have a feeling that this is going to play an important part in the end. Maybe Dumbledore, Lily, James, Serius, Cedric, and all the other people Voldemort killed will come back to life to help harry finish off voldemort or something. we'll just have to wait and see.

Oh wow to tell you the truth, I really loved how Snape killed off Dumbledore. I sound cynical, I know, but what book is good with everybody alive? I mean, one needs tragedy and failure to make it good. You need both sugar and spice. Snape, however, is sooo much more evil than Voldemort, if you ask me, and would have made a better villain in the end. Snape is my favorite character, next only to Sirius (whom she has not confirmed to be dead. Dumbledore, I have heard, however has been confirmed to be dead. I think that it is a good thing that she killed off Dumbledore, becuase she is cutting of Harry's tie (technically) to Hogwarts, now allowing to cut his seventh year to search for the Horcruxes. I suppose she has bored of writing about Hogwarts and wants to try something new. Dumbledore, if he was alive, would probably have to fight Voldemort, and I suppose she wants Harry to do that. She definitely won't kill Harry though - he's her source of income for god's sake!

Oh... There was need. And it was BIG! Do you know what it is? To make you ask "Why did she killed him???"
If nothing happen in the book and noone dies would you read it? No sir! Oh and there is one more thing. Now in HP7 Harry will have to face Voldemort his own. Noone will be there to help him. That will be UNDERLINED in the book. So if Dumblledor didn't died and Sirius didn't died this would be just a mawkish children story about a boy who does everything perfectly and kills the bad guys with no effort. Athors all over the world use that tric to make the readers say "WOW he made me cry! He's so good!"

I wonder if powerful wizards have the ability of communicating with people from beyond the grave whenever they want to. Perhaps Dumby will be able to guide Harry the rest of the way as a voice of reason (similar to Obi Wan and Luke in the original Star Wars).

I'm sorry but I don't agree with you.
Dumbledore has always been around to protect Harry and I think the only way for us to see how good Harry really is, is to take away his protection and give him a full go at Lord V. Dumbledore was one of my favorite characters and I was very sad to see him go, but I think it was neccessary.
Cant wait for the next book.

Well, it certainly came as a shock, but Harry now has lost all the people close to him.
I think she did the right thing, as it has built up the mystery.
Was it planned.
Is Snape the good guy.
Will she kill Harry off.
Will McGonnagall be the headmaster of Hogwarts now?
I can't wait until July 21st.

Ok Here is my opinion Dumbledore is dead. Jk confirmed it but she didn't confirm Sirius. I think Snape and Dumbledore planned for Sanpe to kill him because there is a part in the book where they are arguing about someone also Dumbledore would NOT plead for his life i thnk he was pleading with snape to kill him!!!!!!! Dying for July

he was one of d most powerful wizard n the only 1 whom voldemort feared........if voldemort himself never dared 2 kill dumbledore.....how cud snape do it so easily?
1st sirius...n now dumbledore...rowling seems 2 like kiiling d gud ppl!!!!!
who knows....maybe she'll kill harry in her 7th book......she likes 2 write d unexpected!!!!

i agree,since he is probably the most important person in harrys life & the only person able 2 take on voldemort and i think it was cowardly of snape 2 kill him in that manner

i have raed it and i so agree with u... u know what while i was reading that part i was thinking whay he need to kill dumbelldor... i am so fed up with this Snipe person.... i realy hate him.. i realy sick of this man.. when read that part i fell realy realy mad of him... i think he is a crazy prof.......but i dont think dumbelldor is dead...... i think i should buy the malay version harry potter. novel.. besides i can read in bahasa........
