It's happening for 3 weeks. DVD-ROM is working well and CPU is fine. please help me....

it could be undetected virus/spyware though I haven seen NOD32 miss anything before, or as above said it may be old..

If you have a cd stuck in there because the drive won't open for no good reason, and want to get it out, you have to restart the computer and press on the eject button as it is booting up. However, if it is stuck because you didn't place the cd correctly and it came loose inside, then you need to pry it open with a screwdriver or something. Not sure how safe that is, but it happened to me once, and I did it, and nothing happened to the drive or the disk.

If you mean your CD-ROM drive itself doesn't mechanically open, and this happens off and on, chances are that the drive itself is mechanically fouled up. You'll probably need to get a replacement drive, and if you do, I'd recommend a DVD/CD combo drive. You can look for them at newegg.com, and below is a page on their site for those drives. change the cd-rom it become old and have serious problem
