First of all, there is no such thing as writers block, it is only the loss of determination, perseverance and hope. Many people these days blame all their disability to write on writers block when they fail to see that it is themselves that's causing the problem. The question is this......How long do you sit in front of the computer or stare at a blank page? A couple of mins? An hour? Two? No, you need to be harsh on yourself, sit and stare non-stop for hours, the blank page needs to become an abyss, an empty hole or space that needs to be filled with words. Train yourself to punish yourself for any incompetence you have, don't give up, persevere. Sit and stare at that blank screen for hours if you have to, force yourself to write the words, even if they suck.

Right now as I'm writing this answer, my fave TV show has started, but I'm not gonna watch it until i finish this answer.
It seems to be that because you haven't written for 4 months, that you're not even trying, you're not buying out the time to actually sit down and write, now all i ask is, Why the hell are you sitting here and reading this answer, why are you on Yahoo! Answers? Goddamn it, get writing this very instance (oh, hell, im turning out like my mum).
Well, good luck, and most importantly, have fun, but always persevere and be strict of yourself.

Some writers will tell you that if you want to be a true writer, keep writing even when there is no inspiration. They simply tell you that you can't wait for inspiration to find you, find it yourself! But the question is, how to find it?
Look at the people around you. Any siblings? You will find that they are a great source of things to write about.
On Writer's Digest, they ask a diffferent question every week that you can reply to, questions that involve all types of writing and really get the imagination going. You can get the past 365 questions at a time, but you can only answer on there the last. Whenever the dreaded Writer's Block does show up, I do one of those. Of course, they also make a good excuse that you're "practicing your writing skills" when that book doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Writer's block is different for everyone though, so find what works for you. Hey! If this doesn't work you can always type whatever gibberish comes to mind and work from there. Good luck!

Law school sadly doesn't leave me much spare time when I write for writers' block, but I've found reading history books (and even Wikipedia when lazy) inspiring. There are a lot of real life stories that can be twisted into high drama and an excellent fictional story with a little imagination and creativity (look up Beatrice Cenci for a classic example; her life had absolutely everything!)

Beyond that, try browsing http://alden.nu/resources.shtml - there may be writing prompt sites there, and there's certainly inspiration aplenty.

Another good thing to do is to take classic opening lines and see if you can write a short story based on them - use them as your start if you need, and then delete them. Here's a good one, from Rafael Sabatini's 'Scaramouche': "He was born with a gift of laughter and a sense that the world was mad." Fire away - post results if you would like, or not!

Read the newspaper or listen to the news on TV and try to imagine why people do some of the things they do. For instance, I live in a city that has riverboat casinos, and recently the lady that was in charge of the local HUD office embezzled $120,000. What was going on in her life? And what about the EVIL man who mugged the 101 y/o lady? Or how about the HS kid who won the national science fair--what's her life going to be like? Sadly, nothing is stranger than the truth!
