I am a Christian first, then an American and then I affiliate myself with the Republican party......and my wife is in the USAF and is supporting, as well as I, the right of these so-called "Christians for peace" to gather and defy this war under the grounds that "it is immoral" and God would not want us to be there? If it wasn't for the military being "over there" taking the fight to the terrorist own doorsteps, then we would be fighting "insurgency amongst American Muslims" in the city and streets here! These "Christians" would be rounded up and strung up, beheaded, gutted, tortured and such as has happened in many of these countries over the past 20 or so years. I find it quite ironic that if they wish to not be at war with these terrorists on account of their Christian beliefs, these terrorist would no sooner kill you where you stand if you were not willing to "convert" to the Islamic Faith. Such arrogance to think they know the plan and will of God!

As a Christian I know it is better to make peace then to make war. As a republican I was fooled into believing a false pretense for this war. Yes I'm opposed to this war, although I won't be able to attend any protest tomorrow. The protestors will have my full support.

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Good luck and God bless you and your family

"And they will be deluded and they will believe a lie".

I will never join a protest against our men in combat!!

I was in combat in Viet Nam Thanks to these stupid deluded protesters a lot of my friends got killed.

When I got back, still in uniform, I was going to the USO in San Francisco when some war protester spit on me. That was the wrong thing to do when less than a week before I was in combat.

That is what I thought of you "war protesters" then and I think even less of you now.

I would not protest the war. However, I do hope and pray that peace will eventually prevail.
