If your source of audio is already on your computer, you will need to locate the *movie tasks* bar. Then under *capture video*, select *import audio or music*.

If you source of music is from an external source, i.e. camera, you will need a fire-wire or USB cable to connect to your computer, then just follow the same steps as above.

1. save the music as an mp3 file on your computer.
(purchase and import it from a music site, save it from a CD, etc.)
2. down load the mp3 file to windows movie maker by clicking under 'movie tasks' on 'import audio/music'
3. after the music down loads, drag file to the 'time line' down to the line entitled 'audio/music'.
