Don't answer this question now. Think about it and answer it tomorrow.

The trick for me is just getting started. For instance, if you have a big project due in a week, tell yourself to just do a little bit right now. You'll find that once you're in the swing of it, you'll keep going. The hardest part is usually just getting started, typing that first letter. But once you do, the rest is easy. Also, set limits for yourself. Say "Okay, today I'm not going to do A until I get B done." This can be something like "I'm not going to watch TV" or "I'm not going to buy myself that pair of jeans." Which should give you some motivation to get it done.
Like "Nike" says: Just Do It.

BTW what "Blazing" said doesn't seem like Trial and Error, it seems more like classical conditioning. Pavlov's Dog type of stuff.

eat ice cubes while beginning the project and you wont want to stop(must have like 20 ice cubes) train self to do this on all projects and then whenever you eat something cold you will think about what needs to be done this is scientifically called trial and error and actually works for many people it does not have to be ice cubes though i just use them.
