This question actually comes up alot here, so I'm sure you could some research. But in case you don't want to, here's what you'll find: it still seems that most guys don't bother with it they just let it grow. But it is becoming more and more of a trend especially with the younger crowd to trim it if not shave it all together. As for shaving itself, there are a number of variations from taking it all off, to just shaving around the penis to shaving around the penis and the balls. There is some truth to the fact that shaving around the shaft will make the penis look slightly bigger. There is also the fact that pubic hair is designed to hold the pheromones and smell that we produce, at one time is used to attract a mate. These days pubic smell is pretty much a turn off and one way to alleviate that problem is to remove what keeps the stench there. (of course you could always become a clean freak) IN the end it is still a personal choice but the trend does seem to be moving in the shave if not trim it direction. Personally I've shaving for over 15 years now (since I started growing hair) and wouldn't have it any other way. All the women that I've known have prefered it to the bush. Try it out, you might be surprised.

From my observations many years going to the Y, where all the guys hang out and don't cover up, never saw a shaved guy, most are natural and hairy, a few obviously shave body hair, since they have hairy butts but no hair on their backs or chests. But pubes are usually left natural.

It doesn't hurt to give your pubes a bit of a trim with scissors, just don't cut yourself. A friend of mine shave his off once and he got a bad rash, so if you do shave use some moisturizer or something.

If you like the scent you say the pubic hair produces, why do you spray it with a sweet smelling fragrance? Shave it off. A woman who shaves off her pubic hair tastes better during oral sex, so does the shaved man to a woman.
