The only 3 products I ever need:
The original Nivea cream.
Christian Dior's Skin Flash.
Max Factor's Masterpiece Max mascara.
Anything else is not so important. Although a quality eyebrow pencil, and facial oil blotting tissues come in handy, too.

Definitely Mirenesse mascara. It's amazing and you just have to wet it and gently pull on your lashes for it to slide off (but it won't smudge otherwise).
A mineral foundation powder like Jane Iredale or ID or bare minerals. It's not cheap but it lasts ages and covers brilliantly while looking natural.
Rosie Jane Cosmetics has cute and practical cheek glosses and eye hints that you apply with a clean fingertip. The cheek gloss gives and great natural glow (every time I wear it I am told how vibrant and healthy I look) and the eye hints give just a subtle enhancement. They're small and fit into travel bags too.
A good black eyeliner pencil and darker shading eyeshadow (for your eyelid crease) would be good for evenings. I would go for a good quality brand like MAC.
Definitely a good set of tweezers and eyelash curlers as well.
Another idea is to pay a visit to your local makeup artist/beauty therapist and have a make-up session so that you can try the colours and products that suit you before you commit to buying them.

Three most essential things are:
Eyeliner, Mascara and bronzer.
I recommend getting the bronzer by Sugar- it is INCREDIBLE everyone I have shown it to is obsessed with it becuas it complements all skin tones.
Then get 3 shadows- a dark one, then another that is a few shades lighter (this way you can make a smokey eye).. try dark brown and light brown.
then get a slightly shimmery shadow- dont go hoochie, just something with a faint shimmer a nice champagne color. You can use this to highlight your eyes.
then get yourself a good brush to apply the shadow.
Oh! dont forget lip gloss. I think pale pink is always the best look becuase it works for both day and night time.
another important thing to get is coverup- i recommend shu umera its expensive but well worth it, you can spot treat rather than covering your entire face.. another good brand is benefit (also expensive) I find that spending money on makeup is well worth it.. you can buy the expensive basics and then get the rest of the stuff cheap.
hope it helps!

I like covergirl the best, and almay mascara is pretty good too. For green eyes you should use purple shadows, it brings out the eye color. If you have really good skin, use powder instead of foundation because it could clog your pores, and hey if you have good skin...you don't want to ruin it right?!
:) hope this helps!

Don't go out and spend big on make-up.But i don't mean just going to the $2 shop either. The make up i use is:
Foundation...Covergirl $5(usually around $12...i got it for cheap)
Mascara...Maybellene $8
Translucent powder...Covergirl $7
And just by a make-up set.Cost around $15-$20.
That comes with all the extras like eyeliner ,eyeshadow, blush, lipgloss etc.
You don't have to worry about spending lots of money on extras like that.
Hope i helped.Good Luck. ash

You need to throw your old make-up out, because it can give you infections once it's over two years old.Good move.
You need: Foundation,Powder,Lip liner,Lip gloss,Blush,
Make-up Brushes,Mascara,Eyeliner pencil,Eyeshadow.
Select what you like,I like Estee Lauder. They will help you decide on what looks best on you.Professional Brushes ,
Sponges to apply Foundation.You need a Cleanser,Toner,
& Moisturizer.
