From a small country like Malaysia,there are quite a lot good bands here..My favourite local band is called Butterfingers....They are my all time favourite band....made very very very good songs.....u should try n listen to their songs...try finding them at myspace.....n watch out for songs like The Chemistry and Faculties Of The Mind and an instrumental, Vio Pipe...Not sure if it's on myspace.. hehe....

Devotchka. They are a Denver band, I would describe them as sort of a mix between Talking Heads and Fiddler on the Roof.
