iam a shift manager for wendys and lately when i close people have been short any where fro 10dollors to 30 and it looks bad on me what should i do i worried i will lose my job i don t like being short please help need some advise

1. Do a personal money count when you come on duty.
Don't accept as the gospel the count given to you
by the previous shift manager.
2. If you are still short at the end of your shift, your problem
is on your shift.
3. Don't accuse anyone, but make a special effort to
scrutinize the activities of cashiers. Make sure that
all outgoing monies and incoming monies are accounted
for by paper trail.
4. If it were me, I would advise my superior that the
problem is present and what you are doing to try and
solve it. I hope you have done that. If you don't and
the problem continues, you are right....you are
accountable. That's why its even more important for
your boss to see that you are trying to make things
right.
5. If money is still missing despite a paper trail being
in place....there's something rotten in Denmark....and
it could be one of your employees.

simple... find out who's draw is short,give them only one warning and if that doesn't work fire them., or fire them now!!!
