Can..and hope so, but probably not. If they can take oregon I like the next matchup (unlv or wisc) but they'll have to go through Fla. Don't see it happening.

First, anything is possible in the NCAA tourney, except maybe a 16 seed upset... But if Winthrop is to make it to atlants they have a very difficult road ahead of them. The first game is against an Oregan team that can light up the net from behind the arch. The next most likely opponent is a Wisconsin Badgers team with a BIG 10 Player of the year Alando Tucker, and an injured Brian Butch. Their last opponent will most likely be either a Dominant florida gators with Horford and Noah, or Maryland with 5 starters who can all put up points. Is it possible? Yes, but this would be much harder than George Mason's trip last year.

I believe Winthrop can surprise a lot of people & can go far in this tournament. I have seen them play twice this year (in person). They have a great team & play with no fear. They only lost 4 games. Those 4 losses were to UNC, Wisconsin, Texas A & M, and Maryland. They were leading UNC & Wisconsin late in the game and they played A & M and Maryland tough also. I do believe they can make it to Atlanta.

Atlanta would be a little far-fetched (especially because of the Gators), but then again, George Mason pulled it off last year. More realistic is a run to the Sweet 16, which many have predicted in their pools, but it seems unlikely that they'd go any further than this...although it really would be great to see.

aight had them beatin Notre Dame, and have them beating Oregon, that is the good thing about the tourny, ya never can tell, but if they do beat Oregon, the run stops against UNLV, I have UNLV going to the final four, but who knows, upsets happen, that is another thing about the tourny...even my self would love to see a team win it all that wasn't expected to win it all, just to let ya know (not a guarantee Kansas over Georgetown) only my prediction

No doubt, they'll be there. Look for Bradshaw to pound these highly rated bigs in the paint at both ends.

That might be a stretch but anything is possible. They will have their hands full with the Ducks on Sunday but they might be this year's George Mason - GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
