Also, if you have or have not seen the movie, what were your thoughts on the games?

I loved the movie, but it in no way compares with the games. The movie infuriated me for putting Pyramid Head in it, though. James, who is the star in the second game, is supposed to be the one who conjures Pyramid Head up, but they just had to put him in the movie! And then they went and changed his name to Red Pyramid, when it's not! Agh! But I still loved the movie. The games are way scarier though, especially the fourth game. I can't wait for the second movie to come out, but I hope it follows the course of the games and has nothing to do with the first movie. The second game is about James, and that game has to be my all time favorite Silent Hill game, though my second favorite would have to be number four.

It was good. The story behind Silent Hill was a little confusing. But the creatures and monsters were interesting. My favorite was the Red Pyramid. The fact that they (the mother/ child and the father) were in to different dimensions. I was like the mother and child died in the car accident and were trapped in some other world. It was a good movie. I haven't played the games, but they seem more exciting than the movie.

I must say it was better than I was expecting. It was creepy, atmospheric, and the actors did a good job. I had to pretty much separate it from the events in the games and think of it as a separate story, but that wasn't hard to do.
The games are great, I especially enjoyed 3 and The Room. The games all have a very claustrophobic feel, and a sort of hopelessness. They're mind-bending fun.

I saw the movie, and that actual place is in Pennsylvania. Pretty interesting facts.

It was a decent concept, that just wasn't up to par in the finish. I liked the twist at the end, but it really could have been better.
