Why in the heck would you force a whole race of people to do what you want them to do? This sounds like Hitler and like American concentration camps. This is called oppression. You cannot just do what you choose to a whole race of people. And you cannot assume Native people would let this happen, if you think they would then you are kidding yourself.
Native people have a right to this land. Native people are the founders of this land. Native people have treaty rights to this land.
I don't know what kind of question this is but is very racially loaded.
I am a Native woman.
EDIT: To respond to your comment. Native people would be more than happy to be their own government. Why don't you petition your government to let Natives have full soveriegnty. Remember that means you would have to uphold treaty rights.
And to say Natives should stop living in the past is cultural ignorance. Oppression still exists TODAY because of the past. Natives have the highest rates of poverty, diabetes, infant mortality, teen suicide Because Of Oppression!!! Research has shown this to be true. And in case you didn't know about intergenerational trauma I will tell you. This refers to trauma being passed down from generation to generation. It is similar to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It means that people can still feel Pain from things that occured in the past Especially if there are contemporary triggers such as racism, cultural ignorance, and oppression.
So, how about you acknowledge the horrible past, fight against oppression, and petition your government for Native soveriegnty. Then you'll get what you want.
And by the way: "Circle the Wagons, Yee Ha" Is being a Bigot!!!!!
EDIT 2: To respond to user below. The land bridge theory is just that, A THEORY. There is actually more evidence to disprove the theory than there is to prove it. The evidence this user is citing is extremely controversial. The website he provides is also very controversial. For more information please read "Red Earth White Lies".

"TOM"!!! There it is AGAIN!!! Now, just how many times did you copy and paste your answer! Come on now, there has to be some creativity in that shiny head of yours...oh wait, the fact that you are repetitively answering different questions with the same answer proves that YOU DO LACK THE ability to expand your thoughts to the level of an average oaf! OH YOU poor white supremacist!!! Boo on you!
Anyway, inquisitive one: I thoroughly enjoyed reading "RedPower..." answer, it was very precise and stuck to the facts!
It is a fact that the euro-invasion included, among many other distasteful acts, the confinement of tribes to the most undesirable land lots, which later became known as "reservations". To what the euro-invaders thought would be a guarantee that the tribes would not leave the land, they "granted" each individual tribe sovereignty...
I am almost certain that you cannot be completely serious with your question. The mere fact that you added "Circle the wagons, Yee Haw!" shows either pure ignorance and bigotry or utter facetiousness...Either way, I hope that one day you come to the realization of your provincial train of thought, and join us who do not believe in the act of "poking fun" at other cultures, just for simple entertainment.

Canada is not a reserve. And I believe you mean "force them off the reserves and into OUR society." They already have a society and did so long before we. My answer is no, we have taken enough from those people.
EDIT: Ahhh... Native Americans / Native Canadians, rather than Native Americans / Canadians. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Other than that though I stand absolutely by my statement.

And why is the "white" concept the default of how it should be? Who is to say that they are the ones that should assimilate? I mean, our societies are a mess, it's hurting the planet, we're destroying each other, we work ourselves to the bone all our lives then die, few people are ever truly happy in this...it's clearly not working. Maybe we are the ones who are wrong and should have and need to assimilate in the other direction, huh?

Most of the Native Americans I know don't live on reservations, they are assimilated, but don't want to assimilate to the point where they have to deny their heritage.

First your gonna force them off THEIR land into reservations then force them out of the places they were forced into? Who the f**k gave you monopoly over other peoples lives, indigenous ones at that? How about you get the f**k out of THEIR country? The indigenous people have a right to govern THEIR country.
