Absolutely! Like it's been said, "It takes a bigger man to walk away." If someone continually comes at you, you may have no choice but to fight. But in a case like yours, you did the right thing, and I'm sure your friend will appreciate what you did as well.

Walking away was the best possible thing you could have done. Sometimes, yeah, you need to kick ***, but in this case, you acted as the bigger person, and that will be better for you in the long run.

I not only think it's ok, I feel that it takes more of a man to walk away from a fight, than it is to get into one

I could say yes or no, but what really matters is what you think is right. I mean sure it was a smart decision simply for that fact that not many people have any sense of self control anymore. You did something you thought was right, and that takes confidence and smarts. Good job.

Yes, you did the right thing. Sometimes, you can't avoid fights and you have to defend yourself; but always walk away from stupid things like that...and don't trust people with unnaturally hot tempers. Sorry all this happened...

of course u did. u showed that u have more self control. ur more responsible. u were able to let it go. keep it up. only fight in self defense. dont let some one take advantage of u. my friend has a real anger problem and finds it hard to do what u did. u should feel proud. God Bless.

The wisest men walk away from pointless fights. That, my friend, was a pointless fight. Good for you!
