On TV, they almost never show what he does that makes the refs hate him so much. I know he's gotten techs for saying "ball don't lie" after missed free throws, and tonight it seemed like he got a tech for saying "Yeah!" after making a 3 as the game went to a TV timeout. What gives? Is he doing something much worse than i realize? Is he really treated differently than other players?

He's got a target on him. He's watched more closely than other players. Remember, he once chased a ref down in a Portland parking garage and yelled at him a 'punk a** b*t**' as the ref got into has car. He's no friend to the officials after doing things like that, so yeah, he is treated differently. No other players look for refs after games to challenge them like that.

I guess he celebrated after the shot he made. Seems like a bad call to me, not something he should get a technical for, but maybe he said something they didn't like. The Pistons will challenge this technical call and maybe the foul will get overturned. Seems like it should be, but we'll see.

He talks the refs after the play then he gets on the nerves of the refs they give me a technical foul. Raheed Wallace has the most technical fouls each season but that is just how he is. I guess he likes getting technical fouls.

Rasheed has a reputation so he's kept a closer eye on than any other player because of his past of jawing at refs. He can't do anything right these days because of his reputation. I don't agree with that, I think it's pretty crappy, but it's his fault for being that way. Plus, you can't hear everything that's said on the court. It may look like nothing but he could have said something other than that to the refs that pissed them off or something inappropriate or unsportsman-like.

Its the 'sheed rule.
they give technicals and suspensions because he used to ask the refs why and used to get mad. they want him to behave but its not in him. and i don't think he should just cause stern wants to be an ***,
