Soak a rag in hot water (as hot as you can stand it), place the rag over the bruised area for 5-10 minutes and then massage the area. This will break up the bruise and speed up the recovery.

Repeat every couple of hours.

Arnica cream or gel will help bruising to heal faster, I really hurt one of my heels recently and I couldn't beleive how awful the bruise looked - and hurt! I started putting arnica cream on it and within a day had visible results, after three days it looked so much better. You can get arnica based products at your local health food store.
Of course, eating healthy, lots of water, not poking it, etc, will also help.

Gently rubbing it with a used toothbrush or other soft brush several times a day will help the blood drain faster. It won't be instantaneous but it will speed healing time by a couple of days. This also works on hickeys, in case you ever need it.

Have your best friend run down to the nearest creek and grab up 2 leeches. Tell him to be very careful that he doesn't grab the long ones with teeth....just the ones with a lot of sucking power. (just kidding)
