What is the name of that game?

It is like pong, except you have to keep a little ball in play while it knocks out the platforms. It gives you special power-ups and everything, but I cannot think of it :-( Plz help!

Arkanoid was one of them. The nintendo version came with a paddle with a knob on it to turn.
