Insults and bad criticisms must not be thrown against the US President since the American people and nation is affected as a whole.

It's a good thing and a bad thing.
Good thing, they're exercising freedom of speech.
Bad thing, it's quite sad how we like to put down our president. I'm not a bush supporter but for an authoritative figure to look so bad is not helping the US at all. If americans can diss Bush, what do you think other countries are saying about him? (and America)

No, societies tolerance of humor is it's greatest proof of freedom of expression. Bare in mind that no US President has been free of the ridicule of the comedian. Some ignore it, some embrace it. When and if the day comes we can not take comedic jabs at our (US) leaders wil be a VERY SAD DAY for ALL of US. (no pun intended)

If I may answer your question with a rhetorical question: Do you know of any 'free' society where the incumbent administration is not subject to parody and mocking by comedians?

What would you think of the president of France and the entire country if all you saw was the press, the Paris elite and every big mouth in that country putting him or her down?

This is what liberals do best.

It makes them look really tasty to the people that want their heads on silver platters. A little salt and pepper with those filthy tongues would make the meal complete.

Well, considering that most of the other countries are laughing at Bush- too, I don't think they particularly care! Comedians LOVE Bush...-they're gonna miss him when he leaves Office. They're probably going to be the ONLY ones who will miss him when he's gone... :)
