assuming it is possible I would live like never before. A pair of wings or a big propellered beanie. And I'd be exploring all those truncated nerve endings until I found the "special" ones.

It's not likely that you would survive without half your heart, half your lungs, both kidneys, the liver, stomach, colon, and so on. Being fed doesn't mean that you'll survive since you need the rest of the organs to process what you have been fed. Having more than half of your body cut off instantly also means that you will bleed dry within less than a minute. (I think it's less than 30 seconds, but let's say a minute to be on the safe side.)
Disregarding the above and assuming that modern medicine and technology will make up for what has been lost...
No, I wouldn't want to die. I once thought that I'd commit suicide or at least beg to be killed if I became disabled. Today I know better and I know that the quality of life is not determined by how much you can walk, run, lift and so on. The quality of life is within yourself and how you choose to handle what happens to you.

Ok, you can not possibly live after being chopped from the nipple down. First off you need some way to get the waste out of your body. And how could you digest food without your intestines? Where would the food go if they were so-called "fed intravenously?" And if you were chopped off from the nipples down, doesn't that mean that half of your lungs would be gone? You can't live with half of two lungs. And the Black Dahlia was chopped off from the waist down, and she didn't live. So it is impossible to live chopped off from the nipples down.

Do my nipples still work?
If your assertion is right (sounds like the preserved heads in Futurama), and from a 'whole person' perspective, no, I would not want to die. I've always believed my best attribute and contribution to life was my brain (though many would dispute it). Ergo, if I could think, reason and contribute in some manner to the world, life would continue to be fulfilling. People might even literally put me on a pedestal.
Further, I'd finally have the weight loss I've been striving for all these years.
Peace

Yes but it would be a bummer if I decided that I wanted to take dancing lessons.
