Since decemeber, whenever I don't sleep enough, I feel like there is something in my eye, but when i look in the mirror theres nothing. Should i go to doctors or something? This only happens in my left eye and when I am tired from lack of sleep.

it could either be a stye, or just surface irritation from drying out due to a lack of sleep. happened to me quite often after my father passed and i didn't sleep well.

For sure, go see a doctor and have it checked out. It could be nothing but lack of sleep, but it could be more. It's been a few months already, and if it hasn't gone away by now it might be something a doctor should check.

do you wear contacts?

i had the same problem from wearing contacts, what was happening was the contact was drying my eye so badly and scratching it. when i went to the eye doctor she could actually see scratches on my eye that was bothering me. during the day it wasn't as bad because the contact acted as a semi-bandage. but i was always looking in the mirror thinking i had an eye lash in my eye, my friends thought i was nuts, but my eye doctor said this is quite common with contacts. i switched to acuvue oasis and the problem is completely better.

oh, well that's not really helpful to you! good luck...see an eye doctor, maybe it's a scratch...have you tried eye drops?

You may have dry eyes, that can make it feel like you have something in the eye even when you do not.

Make an appointment with the Ophthalmologist just to be safe.

Guard your vision.
