Hi Danny,

First off, congratulations on your getting a new Macintosh.

Macintosh programs use Preferences settings to change things. Inside Safari you go up to the Safari > Preferences... menu command. This brings up (yes) the Preferences dialog box. Go to the tab that says AutoFill and click on that. Uncheck all of the check boxes inside AutoFill. this should clear that up for you.

Best of luck to you and happy computing.

They are all tied up to your bookmarks. If you don't mind having no bookmarks then delete them and under Safari menu, enable Private Browsing or you can just add a space before typing in the address you want to visit.
