Kiko, the fear of the unknown is always with us. Adapt. You are just as good as anyone. You sound intelligent to me. Now all you need is courage. The violence you hear about in American schools is mostly overblown. there are many good people who will help you. You will not be ostracised so badly it will shame you or permantly harm you. Be of good cheer.

Hey there KIKO you know all public schools have there ups and downs to them but you will be okay once you get settled in-I'm sure your Dad wouldn't bring you and your mother into a bad situation. The world is the world yes and we can't always change what we don't like about it but we can choose to better it.It is okay to feel scared you won't be the only one!Just take what you have learned from living in Africa(right)?and embrass that enjoy who you are and let others learn from you i think that's already a bonus about you!It is a big change but probably a good one-you will like it once you start to meet friends and stuff.Don't let other people try to change who you are-stick up for what you believe in and remember that people would be lucky to have a pal like you.Be strong KIKO and good luck!!You will be okay!

I dont think you'll have a problem. If you do decide to go out with boys just dont let them pressure you into something you dont feel comfortable doing. This can be a scary change for you.

its only normal to be scared when you move to a new school especially to a another country. just be yourself. just give it time you'll make friends in no time.
