mostly software conflicts, internet security issues, but rare mechanical problems....what do you think?

computers never really had moving parts the the few i can think of would be the fan(could get cloged with dust) the eye in the harddrive that has to read the disk and the one in the CD drive. which really go bad. they are deffinently not high mantanance things

while it's true the less moving parts can make a computer more stable,there is also the problem of soddered connections of parts and wiring that cracked because of the on and off heat expansion and contraction when turning it on

I would say that mechanically they are pretty sound...but my laptop would say no because I drop it on the daily! Poor Toshiba...

Keep in mind less or more stable is the sign of Live technology.
