I think you should wait... at least untill you get married. Plus, what if it's not the right guy.. I would hope you would want your first time to be special.

So, I think, this being scard thing, is something inside of you telling you... that you need to wait.

Well I think the safest thing would be to use birth control since condoms don't necessarily work. They can come off or tear or all kinds of other things, but they do protect from diseases.. But the garanteed way not to get pregnant is to not have sex at all...but if your detirmined...and you love the guy you wanna lose it to then I guess there's nothing that can be done to help it. Just go to your Gynecologist and ask for some birth control. But you should also be concerned about all of the sexually transmitted diseases that are spreading these days as well. Just be careful, and be safe with whatever choice you make.

Here are some helpful sites I found that can give you some information:

You should be scared! Look, in today's world there is a lot more than just getting pregnant. What about getting AIDS or a host of other diseases. Losing your virginity should not be an incident but a life long loving memory..Latex condoms is a must! Just make sure that the boy you chose is deserving and mature enough for this also..Good luck!

this person must really be special if you want to do it. if your scared your not ready and you might be young and you might not. condoms are 1 way of protecting yourself however that is not going to take the fear away. the best advice i can suggest is that you know that this is really what you want to do and be extra careful because if you dont protect yourself in another way besides a condom you are bound to get pregnant. be smart wait until you know that the time is right and you have been with that special someone for a few years if he loves you he will wait until you are not afraid, will make sure that you don't get pregnant and still love you whatever your choice may be

Condoms aren't 100 percent effective. There is also risk depending on the handling. I think you should wait-it doesn't sound like you're ready. If you do decide to then use a condom with spermicide or a second contraceptive like the pill.

Do you plan to lose your virginity just to say that you're not a virgin? I don't think you're really ready to have sex. But when you do lose your virginity and something happened with the condom and you didn't have birth control....there's always the morning after pill.

First if you are uncomfortable with the thought of having sex, you should not go through with it until you are comfortable. Second do some research on some form of birth control... I use nuva-ring, its one of the better contraceptives I have used. I can't remember to take a pill every day but the ring works pretty well for me... Third, if you are that worried you shouldn't have sex, you should really wait until you are ready...

If you are not prepared to deal with an accidental pregnancy then don't even think about having sex. No birth control is 100% effective. Also sex should be saved for someone that you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with and love very much.

Then don't "loose" your virginity and you won't have to worry about it, right?

Seriously... take a chance! The only way to abstain from any and all adversity is to also abstain from anything that might be fun. Then again, there's adversity in that too. Boredom!

if you're scared and you can't deal with a pregnancy you might want to wait or...

get condoms, spermicidal foam and if you're really scared then ask him to withdraw a little early....if it is someone who really cares about you then you should be able to discuss these fears with him and come up with a plan so it is less stressful
