A question for all you people who are interested in how your city is run...?

How many of you think that banning private cars from entering the central areas of major cities will be detrimental to society, nature and the economy and why? (Please try and talk about all three viewpoints)

Motorist will be unduly encumbered of finding alternate routes, the city government will be deprived of potentilal tourist influx, and ultimately the city will be isolated from the rest of the world.
