When I was young, an old man told me he thought a person would be lucky to have 5 friends, real friends, during a lifetime.

I'm old now, and tend to agree. Thousands of acquaintances and ten of thousands of wonderful experiences, but very few true and lasting friends.

Yes. Friends come and go. Some you get to have for an extended period some for just short periods of your life.

Yes, but if u get to lose lots of good friends then u'll have to wonder what's wrong cause it's maybe you that makes them leave

yeah friends comes and goes... its everybody parts to keep in touch with each other...

after each stage of life u tend to lose some friends and make new one... you have to treasure and kept which those good one... and forget those bad influences... become a "hi-bye" friend

Unfortunalely, most friendships will run their course and dissolve. It is the rare few that will last a lifetime.

Way TOO common, unfortunately. :( Interests change, people "move on", people change... -it's just one of the sad realities of life...
