Well I'm 15, 5'11, 160 lbs, and run a 5.86 I usually play QB and have a pretty good arm with great accurarcy. But I am very physical and love to hit and tackle, catch, and run players over while carrying the ball. My rue passion is QB but what alternate position should i play?

Well I think that you should be a free safety on defense and on offense stick to your real position. If you get offered a college scholorship in a couple of years and your true position is still quarterback, you have to go with being a QB. work out and run so you can get stronger and faster. Work on your throwing ability too, if you have great accuracy and want to improve your arm strength lift weights or get a friend and both of you walk away from eachother 15 yards or whatever you want to start with, get on both knees and have a catch. after 10 rotations or so, go back another 5 yards.

If you don't stick with QB TE would be good.

It allows you to be physical because you have to be able to block. It allows you to catch and run people over after you get the ball.

You will be say...6-3 to 6-5. Besides QB's only people at skill positions that are that size are WR's and TE's.

The best thing to do though is to ask your high school coach. See what they are looking for at different positions, and what type of offense and defense the school will run.

Safety is a good bet to hit people, play your cards right and you can get in on almost every play. Speed is helpful but you can do a lot on just fundamentals in that position. QB is valuable though, and not many people are football savey enough to be a decent QB at any level. I think saftey is going to be your best bet. Intercepting passes is awesome too, it's a fun position.

yeah, stick with QB. ur tall so you can view the field. sad 2 say, but 160 is too light for linebacker, offensize line, defensive line, or full back. also, a 5.86 is too slow for safety, running back, corner back, or wide reciever. QB is best for you.

To tell you the truth, I would say special teams is the best thing for ya if want to do all of the above. If you just want one possition, then try half back as they can be physical at times. If you have never thrown the ball with pads on, trust me, they can have an affect on your accuracy at first, I am a former long snapper.

Strong safety i would say, or running back because you get to hit people as safety and run people over people as a running back, or just stay a QB because you could be a scrabbling QB and then you get to run over people there too.

Whatever position the coach puts you at would be my guess. I can't imagine a coach letting a QB if he's any good @ any other position for fear of him getting hurt. But for me if I was a coach I might try you @ safety instead of QB.

Well you would definitely have to get much faster to play any other position... On defense i would recommend Strong Safety because they act as a small linebacker and dont go into coverage much, oh and they get to hit a lot....Also running back would be good but like i said you should add some quickness to be considered a threat....good luck

I disagree with the prior posting, if you like to hit people and tackle, improve your speed and ask to be a Safety. You'll get a chance to demolish people.
