There are some children out there that are committing some truly horrendous crimes, the types that would send an adult away for 15-20. Why is it, that a child will go to prison until they are 18 then be released, with their record sealed. Doesn't the fact that they are children make it all the more worse?

Annoying huh? A 15 year old can cut a person into peices, and get out ina few years... Also, the guy who is from here who shot someone when he was 11 and is now out and we are paying for his college since he never got a chance to go... UMM OK? Our fault HOW?! We are paying for his housing and everything, what a pile of malarky!

If that child is old enough to understand what they did than yes. Being 16 and killing someone, yes.

If a child is old enough to be tried as an adult, then he/she should be considered old enough to vote, sign a contract, stay out past curfew, etc.

Yes some should. I think it depends on the crime. I honestly believe they will need tons of Psychological help.
