If you are in another country than United States then I don't know otherwise, the best option would be to buy a Zune. The screen is much better, the quality of the casing is great too. Almost scratch proof.
You can put all your songs onto the Zune, unlike the Ipod in which you can only put a limited types of songs. iTunes does not convert all the songs always. overall, I would suggest you go to a shop like best buy and ask the Sales Representative to help you out. Sometimes they are not helpful but if you find the right guy it is great, they will explain you everything in detail and you can test drive each of the mp3 players and know which interface is the best. According to me the interface of Zune is so much better than iPod

i pod videos are good, but i think the Zune is better. it has a bigger, clearer screen than that of the i pod. also, the music doesn't have to be in a specific format like the i pods'. you can trade songs w/ friends who have Zunes wirelessly. it also has a built in fm radio.

Ipods are all ways good but there is also the creative zen v plus. I have had both they are both great buys!
