I thought she was funny in "Comic Strip presents" but most other stuff she's just basically a fat woman!

All I can say is thank goodness The vicar of dibley is coming to an end.... 13 years of me, dashing to the telly to turn it over (because I can never find the remote when it came on) kept me fit....But alas that bit of exercise coupled with Dawn French's drone of un-funniness drove me insane. Maybe now they will let me out the asylum.

You must have missed her sketch with Jen. Saunders on Comic Relief on BBC 16/3/07. Before that it was the very last episode of Vicar of Dibley when the "Vicar" got married.

French and Saunders went off in about 1991 after their Silence Of The Lambs spoof, which wasn't funny.

French and Saunders, and I think The Vicar of Dibley has it's moments, and of course Ab Fab was hilarious.
EDIT - she wrote much of the material for Ab Fab.

she never really was, I always thought of her as the straight(wo)man for the hilarious jennifer saunders, now she is funny, from the comic strip to abfab, & everything in between

quite the different,actual, i actually grow to be drawn to my latest lady pal specifically coz she grow to be a stable joker/prankster, and we actually had some relaxing situations that way.For e.g we would pull pranks like changing the autocorrect function on MS-be conscious to alter 'the' into 'you suck', (with hilarious effects whilst the teachers have been explaining stuff and so on and so on) And its an incredible thank you to bond. i assume it finally relies upon on the guy's ego subjects.If he would not experience insecure 'bout the female making the jokes, that's totally nicely!
