Which type of sleep? A normal 7 or 8 hour sleep or the BIG sleep?
The best remedies to put people asleep for 7 or 8 hours is reading books,Y!A,Tv, and sleeping drugs.
But for the BIG sleep a shotgun does a wonderful job.Or anytype of firearm will do. Chainsaws,baseball bats,and knives work great too.

Deep breathing exercises.
Lie back, let all muscles go limp and inhale deeply while thinking INHALE and exhale completely while thinking EXHALE. Repeat until sleep overtakes you.
