There is no way of copyrighting something like a layout. The internet is a place of information-sharing and so is Myspace. I wouldn't copy your friends layout, but a total stranger...that's why they have layout sites in the first place.

That is only what is called an "ethical" issue.

It is because if for example, you copy a popular or a good layout, when people see you copying another's layout, you maybe branded a "copycat" . Sure no can copyright a layout, but it is better to create your own rather than copy someone else's work.

It's not bad. It's just a cheap way of getting a layout is all.

No one 'owns' their layout so you can use whatever you want.
