why have we risked US soldiers' lives to bring "peace" and "democracy" to the Muslims of Iraq??? If Muslims are the "problem" in the world today, why not just leave saddam there to kill and torture as many as he wanted??

Lest you don't get the sarcasm: Why are so many of you "down" on Muslims, yet "rah rah" for the war???

Because many in the United States are easily led, vulnerable and believe everything this administration tells them. One day they are sorry US troops died; the next they are heralding that war means death. One day they hate Osama because of 911, the next they decide to hate Iraqis because the administration told them (a lie of course) that Saddam held hands with Osama. One day they feel sorry for Iraqi innocents who have died, the next day they are praising some US troop who in a moment of "doing his job", admits that he killed an entire Iraqi family INCLUDING small children, because he thought they were "enemies".
The beat goes on......

I don't believe US citizens hate Muslims, as much as the world media (US and foreign) would like us to believe. I don't see mass burnings of Mosque's around the country. Or rise in assault's on Muslims for just being Muslims. The fanatic Muslim is the terrorist. The believer is the one you can have a discusstion with and a exchange of ideology. With out them loosing their mind. Calling you a infidel and trying to remove you head from your shoulders with a very sharp object. By the way thats the one you smoke-check. How do you rule a people, keep them stupid. Education leads to knowledge. Knowledge leads to independence. Independence leads to freedom. Freedom from those who would tell you what to think, what to learn and who can learn. Saddam's Iraq only boys could go to a higher education. Woman were treated like property. We should demand all of the story from our media outlets. The good ,the bad and the indifferent. Not just what bleeds is what reads or leads, but all of it. From when we get attacked to when our troops open another school for all kids in a town. Or get the local water running again. We must make our major media outlets accountable for spreading fear of Muslims. They prey on us, cause they know we'er watching. Then try to step back with a halo on their heads and say "I was just reporting it as it happen" , Bull, it was edited before we ever saw it. Its no different than what the Arab tv stations do when they show a story on us to the Muslim world. Keep that hate alive it sells air time. We as Americans walk a better path in our great land,Many religions have places of worship with in miles or blocks of each other and we are not killing each other merely because we have different beliefs. That is what we must teach the world. That we can all coexist with a respect for each other and for our way of life.

As abhorrent as the concept you propose is to me by the logic I see emanating from the right I don't see how that isn't the way we're bringing a final solution to this, of course another leader in history thought they had a final solution too but I won't go there, suffice it to say that rather than admit that they have it wrong they will fight until we stop them and bring a more effective method to end terrorism

and if articchick believes what she says she should put a halt to people like Glenn Beck , Ann Coulter, and Michael Savage being her spokesperson on the national stage

One Simple answer "Oil"

Why Americans hate muslims saying they are terrorists........Muslims are not invading any country this time..... but its US which is invading two countries illegaly, and now planing for the third........this is very common notion these days "Blame the victims" they are suffering and they are being hated...........if a small group of idiots who call themselves muslims done something wrong, would it be fine to generalise it for whole community? and why this generaliaztion is for muslim community only? I know the reason............"media". media is projecting muslims that way and now we can see only hatred for them.....and this is also planed...because by getting the US public agaisnt Muslims, US job becomes easier in these countries....becuase atleast their public does not ask them "Why"..........Wow how smart this politics is !

US invasion of Iraq from last 10 month has made Iraqis regret the downfall of saddam 's regime they are missing saddam now and indeed this is a miracle becuase Saddam was the most creul president for them and US policies have made them missing him even..............one can well Imagine how 'Good ' US army is for Iraqis ! they are not there to helo Iraqis but they are there to help themselves !

i think of a few people do no longer want to be lumped into the "us of a being the suited us of a interior the international" team. us of a of america isn't the international. some individuals understand this, maximum do no longer. some individuals have an unsightly conceitedness approximately our place interior the international, and it is embarrassing.

"Lest" we don't get it? My, how charmingly condescending of you.

I don't know anyone who claims that they *hate* all Muslims - and I'm a conservative. In fact, the Muslims I've known have been absolutely fantastic people.

Seems to me that *you* are the one who is a bigot, and against your own countrymen - just because they disagree with you. You people would be hilarious if you weren't serious.

BTW, smart ***, do you think *you* could tell a terrorist from a true believer? Or would you be still be insisting he was a "freedom fighter" as he blows you apart? Even moderate Muslims hate the terrorists...and they aren't usually very pro-Bush.

i really don't have an "answer" per say because what you say is one of my pet peeves about US Citizens, discriminating against Muslims because of a minority of fundamentalists. so really, i have more a question back at you...have you heard of the axis of evil comedy tour? it's hilarious! if you haven't yet heard of it, check it out...
