I still have about 2 girlfriends from high school I do keep in touch with...
They both live in different towns now and are farther away from me, but we keep in touch on the Internet and email...

Nope. Things have changed so much since high school and we all changed with the times. I like to leave the past in the past, anyway.

I still talk to one of my friends from junior high.
(Shout out to Terrace Hills Junior High in Grand Terrace California).
My friend from junior high asked me to join myspace last week and I found a few friends from high school
(Shout out to my folks from Redlands High School in Redlands California class of 98)
It's really interesting to see what people are up to.

I did keep in contact with a handful for years... but now in our late 30s, I'm really only in contact with one.
It's funny, because some people I really considered my close, "best" friends- put in little to no effort at all, to remain in contact with me. In some cases, it was completely one-sided (I would call them or send a card, but they would never bother to contact me.) ... other then maybe one or two people, most of my old "friends" can kiss my butt.
