I'm looking to get my own apartment down in Virginia (Possibly with a roommate. Apartments down here are expensive!). My problem is, though, that I'm still a college student, and I don't have a whole lot of job experience. (I spent my SR year of HS doing aftercare at a preschool, and last summer working in a grocery store's bakery department)

Are there jobs out there that will hire an inexperienced student such as myself, while at the same time, providing me with enough money to pay the bills?

I should also mention that the in order to "pay the bills" I'd need to make anywhere from 600-1200 monthly.

Assuming I'd be working full time, are there any jobs that will pay me enough to do that?

It depends on the university as well. I went to the University of Northern Colorado and they had a rule that students under 25 or under a certain amount of credits had to live in the Dorms. The rule was such that by the end of your sophomore year you could move off campus. They could talk to the University and get a waiver but, that was usually only done for students opting to live at home with their parents. Keep in mind that campus living does offer some advantages, like being close to your classes and sometimes your meals are through a cafeteria so you don't have to worry about cooking.

Yes!, Walgreens is always hiring. The best tip I can give for you to get the job is to call the Store Manager near you and let them know you are interested and then fill-out the application online and then call them back. And remember be professional...Good Luck!!

Wait tables or work at a bar (if you are 21)...the tips will be amazing. Just make sure your number 1 priority is school...but wait staff jobs always come and go. It can be a fun time, but again, tough it out and finish school. Good luck!!!

P.S.- Don't strip!!! LOL!!!

I'd say go try stripping. The hours are pretty short and it's all cash.
